After you left

After You Left explores the fragile boundary between presence and absence through a series of male portraits and images of the body. Set in intimate, temporary spaces, the photographs explore vulnerability, identity and the traces of intimacy left behind after an encounter. The body becomes a way to express what words cannot, holding a tension between closeness and distance, between being seen and remaining unreachable.
The subject is still there. But somehow, he has already left.
