A series of environmental portraits of artists photographed in their studios and homes, using natural light to explore the relationship between people and the spaces they inhabit. Rather than documenting their artistic practice directly, the photographs reveal something of each individual's creative world through the surrounding rooms, objects and traces of everyday life. The spaces become an extension of the people who inhabit them, offering an intimate portrait of their identity, sensibility and way of seeing the world.
